“Ahead of it’s time”

Sports Search was set up to engage secondary school children in sport – to increase general participation and activity levels.

It took the physical capabilities and/or attitudes to sporting disciplines ascertained from tests and questionnaires before providing pathways to clubs in sports to which the tests identified they would be best suited.

Prich was part of the management team that set up, developed and marketed this system within a Community Interest Company.

Balancing the needs and demands of multiple stakeholders such as schools, sports governing bodies, NGO’s, Government departments, sporting celebrities, media and charities was key to the success of the system.

In one year we managed to sell the system to 10% of secondary schools across the country with a further commitment in year 2 to grow sales dramatically.

As a Government official said only this year – “that system was way ahead of it’s time and would be perfect for todays digital world.”
